Want to learn how to write speeches that will both hold your judges’ attention and impact and persuade them? Join us for a FREE WEBINAR with an overview of the Informative, Persuasive, and After Dinner Speaking categories; some tips, tricks, and rhetorical strategies; and some topic brainstorming. After that, join our five week platform speech cohort with coaching and peer feedback to get your speeches from initial idea to polished presentation.
About the Coach: Isaac Doi. Isaac has won tournaments in both Persuasive Speaking and Digital Presentation. He is also a repeat finalist in After Dinner Speaking, prequalifying to the 2023 National Championship. In Informative Speaking…. well you can ask him about that. Isaac wants to guide students not only in how they present their speeches, but in how they frame their speeches. His age-old advice to them, “don’t be boring!” is a reflection of his priority put on effective communication in content. The way you explain, situate rhetorically, and apply your content is just as important as how you physically present it.
