Description:
Debaters during the year often struggle with consistent results. That’s because they focus too much on research and don’t put enough time strategizing how to approach different cases. In this semester’s club, we’ll discuss specific cases that either the instructor or the students have seen. We’ll strategize cross-examination, rebuttals, examples, and arguments so that you feel prepared against any case that comes your way. Each week, Ethan will pick apart an affirmative and a negative case, showing the best responses and arguments against the most common––and the most unique––cases.
Club runs from January 24-mid-April, with some breaks in between. If you’re not able to make a session, it’ll be recorded for you.
