Description
Many local LD clubs are focused on student discussion––what do the students think about the arguments floating around? That discussion is helpful––but there needs to be another voice in the room. This LD club provides the extra voice. Ethan Tong, who wrote this year’s top-selling LD Guidebook, will lead the group through discussions of how to attack the best arguments and cases this year.
The club will be the best LD club you’ve ever been a part of. Instead of just spouting off the first arguments that come to mind, we’ll focus on the details: What tags would we use? What closed-ended, airtight cross-examination questions might we come up with? What sources are the most credible? What is the most efficient answer?
We’ll discuss how to win definitions debates, how to beat common cases (and uncommon ones!), how to defend the aff burden or re-define it on neg, and much more.
We’ve even lowered the price for the spring by $25, and every session will be recorded in case you miss a week. There is so much in store for this year, and this club will NOT disappoint––you won’t want to miss it!
