An excellent overview for both beginners and advanced. Go Forth Speech and Debate Club is hosting a two day Speech Camp, led by Heather Neumann (www.lastingimpact.info) where students of all levels will get a kick start for the upcoming season. Through class time and engaging activities, Heather will break down all the speech categories, teach the benefits of speech and debate, and dispel various myths. Even the most apprehensive students will walk away with a foundation, and the varsity students will be inspired! Ideas will be generated for all! Sample speeches will be given and explored!

On day two, students (as well as parents and coaches) will be able to pick and choose specific tracks geared toward their speech and debate journey. Students will also present mini speeches to delve into their ideas.

Bio

Heather Neumann is the founder of Lasting Impact! (www.lastingimpact.info). She empowers her clients to find their inner voice through public speaking. Heather says, “Your voice has power. It has the ability to make a Lasting Impact! All you have to do is use it!” Lasting Impact! started in 2016 and contains over 500 articles about public speaking. Lasting Impact!’s goal is to better equip families by coming alongside students, parents, coaches, and clubs. Most of Heather’s clients are high school students participating in competitive Speech and Debate. However, Heather is also a speaker coach for TedX and has helped adult clients as well, including an Olympic Silver Medalist. She has been blessed to have coached thousands of students, including numerous National Champions.
